Speaking Topic: C.S. Lewis's Satisfied Imagination

The satisfied imagination takes delight in the familiar, the simple, the mundane and the repetitive in a manner that brings our minds back to the eternal source of order and repetition. It works to re-enchant the familiar by enabling us to view the commonplaces of life anew and with fresh perspective and insight. It dwells on the things it knows and finds satisfaction there. This is a particularly necessary type of imagination to cultivate in a society that thrives on constant change. Interested? Click below to check my availability.
